Pricing questions.
- What counts as a case?
- One individual case safety report (ICSR), counted once, including its initial version and up to five follow-ups. A sixth follow-up starts a new billable case. Duplicates that we identify and merge are counted once, not twice. Cases you import during migration are not billed.
- Why a platform fee and not purely per case?
- Because most of our customers are pre-approval when they start. A pure per-case price would bill you almost nothing before launch and then spike your bill in the month a safety signal appears. The platform fee covers the validated environment, the validation package, and support — the costs that exist whether you process ten cases or a thousand — so your budget is predictable and our incentives are not tied to how many patients are harmed.
- Do you charge per user?
- No, and we never will. Every safety decision in Quorum is approved by a qualified person. Charging per seat would put a price on the review step our entire compliance posture depends on. Add your whole safety team, your Quality reviewers, and your QPPV at no extra cost.
- What happens if our case volume spikes?
- You pay the published overage rate for cases above your band — no renegotiation, no penalty rate. If a spike turns into a new baseline we will move you to the band that fits, mid-term, at the published rate.
- Does this replace our case processing team?
- No. It replaces the software licence and removes most of the manual work inside each case — extraction, coding, narrative drafting, formatting. Your team still reviews and approves every case, which is exactly what makes the output defensible. In practice teams handle materially more volume with the people they already have, rather than hiring or outsourcing as volume grows. [replace with a measured figure once design partners are live]
- What are the contract terms?
- Twelve-month agreements, billed monthly or annually. Overage is trued up quarterly. No implementation fee and no minimum case commitment beyond the platform fee. [confirm]
- Can you migrate our existing cases?
- Yes — batch import supports E2B and legacy formats, with reconciliation against your source of record. Migrated cases are not billed as new cases.
- Is validation really included?
- Yes. The GAMP 5 validation documentation package ships with deployment at no added fee, and is re-issued on every qualified release.
